Morning After

Inaugurated in 1994 by the Chandler Center for Community Leadership, the "Morning After" Conferences are daylong forums held after each major Oregon election. They are designed to bring leaders from a wide variety of fields and all geographic areas of the state together in an informal, off-the-record setting to candidly discuss the significance of the recent election results, their short-term and long-term implications for Oregon, and how best to respond to them. The purpose of the conferences is not to formulate solutions to problems, but rather to provide an opportunity for frank and uninhibited dialogue about the important issues confronting the state.
